Lakeside High School’s class and school officers provide leadership through the Associated Student Body (ASB) and serve as the voice of the student body. ASB organizes all school assemblies and coordinates presentations and guest speakers at Lakeside High School. Members are also responsible for morning announcements, as well as numerous fundraisers and activities held throughout the year.
The organization meets weekly to review past events, plan upcoming activities, approve purchases, and develop strategies to encourage greater student involvement. In addition, ASB holds a monthly General ASB meeting attended by representatives from each class, club, and committee to discuss concerns and share ideas and opinions.
To qualify as an officer, a student must be at least a sophomore at Lakeside High School and must complete a minimum of two semesters of Leadership coursework.
