Class of 2025 Senior Handbook

Class of 2025 Graduation Ceremony:

The graduation ceremony for the Class of 2025 will be live streamed for those who would like an alternative to attending in person. Please feel free to share this link (Lakeside High School Commencement 2025) with family and friends who are not able to attend the ceremony.

Additionally, The Fox Theater has informed us that the main entrance doors will be opened beginning at 6:00 PM and the doors to the seating area will be open at 6:30 PM. They also want everyone to be aware that they will not allow any big bags to be brought into the venue. Please do not bring in bags for your student for the Senior All-Nighter afterwards. Those bags should be left in your personal vehicles and given to students immediately after the graduation ceremony.

Senior Photos

Thank you for submitting your child's senior portrait and baby photo.  

Senior portraits and baby photos/ads are due DECEMBER 5, 2025.  All files will need to be received by this date to be included in the 2026 yearbook.  If we do not receive a senior photo, we will use the school photo. Note: all seniors are asked to submit a baby photo for use in the senior slideshow, regardless of whether they purchase a baby ad or not.

Your file will need to be a large file to avoid the photo looking pixelated.  Please do not use screen shots of senior photos.  You will need to use original files.  Please use the following guidelines when submitting: 

Senior

  • Color photos only

  • Full face view (no face/head coverings except religious), facing forward prefered

  • Clothing and jewelry must fit school dress code guidelines

  • No creative filters or photographic treatments (No AI images please)

  • No weapons or hand signs of any kind

Baby

  • Close up (head and shoulders);

  • Color photos prefered but black and white is fine too.

Fees

If you choose to purchase a yearbook baby ad, you will be able to add a 250 character message to your senior's baby photo.

  1. Yearbook baby ads cost $20. Please make checks payable to Lakeside High School. Please pay at the high school business office with cash/check or online via e-funds with debit or credit card (under optional fees).

  2. All fees for ads are due to the business office by December 12, 2025.

Photo Submission Form instructions

The Senior/Baby Photo Submission Form has been created to streamline the process of collecting:

  • Senior photos for the senior section of the yearbook and the senior slideshow

  • Baby photos to use in the senior slideshow (and optional ad)

  • Parent messages for parents who wish to purchase an ad for their senior in the ad section of the yearbook

This year's deadline for photos and messages/ad is DECEMBER 5, 2025.

Parents of Lakeside Seniors are asked to submit a Senior Photo and a Baby photo at the same time through the use of the Submission Form. We are not able to take photo submissions directly from photographers or other family members. In addition to photos, this form will have a section to add the parent message and intent to purchase an ad from parents who wish to have a baby ad in the ads section of the yearbook. This new system is designed to help minimize errors when transferring information to the yearbook and slideshow. 

For Parents uploading Senior photos and Baby photos only (no ads)

Please fill out Question #1 & #2 on the Senior Portrait section of the form. Continue to the Baby Photo upload section and upload your senior’s baby photo to Question #1. Check “No” on Question #2. This will allow you to go straight to the form submission button. 

For Parents wanting to purchase an optional Baby Ad 

If you wish to purchase a baby ad, then you must check “Yes” on Question #2 in the Baby Photo upload section. Answering “Yes” to Question #2 in this section will indicate to both the Yearbook Advisor and the Business Office that you wish to purchase an ad space for your senior. It will also allow you to access the parent message area where you can type in a 250 character message to your senior that will be printed alongside their baby photo. It will not charge your account automatically. You will then need to pay $20 for your baby ad through E-Funds (under optional payments) or through the business office by the due date. If you pay for an ad but do not check yes to Question #2 on the baby photo upload section, we will not be able to run your ad and any payment will be transferred to other charges on your senior’s account.
