Did you know?
You can take the SAT and ACT multiple times, but it is recommended to take it at least in the spring of junior year and the fall of senior year.
Most post-secondary schools are now test optional. However, taking the PSAT, SAT, or ACT can strengthen your admissions application, especially at competitive programs, and gives you access to exclusive scholarships.
Specific majors may require an aptitude test. While community colleges do not base acceptance on the SAT/ACT, scores can be used for Math and English placement options.
Free SAT practice is available on KHAN Academy, which provides targeted learning and a personalized study plan. You can even link your account to your College Board account to share your scores.
If you qualify for Free or Reduced Lunch, fee waivers are automatically available.
