Did you know?

  • You can take the SAT and ACT multiple times, but it is recommended to take it at least in the spring of junior year and the fall of senior year.

  • Most post-secondary schools are now test optional. However, taking the PSAT, SAT, or ACT can strengthen your admissions application, especially at competitive programs, and gives you access to exclusive scholarships.

  • Specific majors may require an aptitude test. While community colleges do not base acceptance on the SAT/ACT, scores can be used for Math and English placement options.

  • Free SAT practice is available on KHAN Academy, which provides targeted learning and a personalized study plan. You can even link your account to your College Board account to share your scores.

  • If you qualify for Free or Reduced Lunch, fee waivers are automatically available.
